Bio

Refreshingly vibrant, eclectic and soulful: you have just been introduced to AB & the Souljourners. Traveling throughout the music scene AB and his talented bands "The Souljourners," have taken the past two years by storm. Captivating the attention of audiences and music pioneers across the globe, AB was featured as Coors Good Vibe Music Artist for the month of February 2006 while being featured on the Heineken Red Star Tour later that year. They have been spotted rocking on the East Coast with Neo-Soul musical icons Eric Roberson at SOBs, Kindred at the 9:30 club, appearing at Urban Organics Fifth Year Anniversary with Julie Dexter and Jaguar Wright, opening for the hip-hop duo Dead Prez at Mirrors, Big Daddy Kane at the New Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh, and Dwele on the Excursion Tour. Ab and the Souljourners have also performed on the West Coast at B.B. King's and Macy Gray's Academy of Music. Ab has also toured Europe as the vocalist/keyboardist/music director for the legendary hip-hop group Slum Village and recently brought the Souljourners on to become Slum Village's official band taking the stage for the first time at the 2007 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. As you can see, Ab is driven and versatile.

Innovative and invigorating, this Singer, Songwriter, Composer & Vocal Coach—is next! Ab has recently been featured on Black Milk's "Caltroit" and new release "Tronic" project as well as Black Milk and Fat Ray's album "The Set Up,"and is working closely with Slum Village on their upcoming release. AB's humbleness, knowledge of music and love of people is transmitted from the beginning to the end of his album "Lyrically Inclined 1.3: The Odyssey." Pioneers, who thrive off seeking and establishing what is next, have gravitated towards AB.

Determined to inspire the masses with his spectacular music, AB is journeying, maneuvering and exploring all avenues, from Corporate America to the Music Circuit, seeking to reach his destination—the hearts and minds of the people. If you haven't heard of him by now—TRUST—he is not singing the same old song!
