2ST was the solo project for guitarist/songwriter Derek James. Derek had been playing guitar for four years now and began recording in July '07 with "Malice followed by "Anatomy of A Tragedy" in December '07 but had a quiet but solid '08 with "Scared No More". He had been writing and recording for a session in Excelsior, MN on 03.16.09 for a new song, "Becoming Concious".

One year later Derek released his 4 song Digital E.P. on itunes, Emusic, Rhapsody, Napster and Amazon for only $3.96.
