Event Description The PINK ELEPHANT Music Festival is the first LGBTQ Hip Hop Music Festival happening just before Austin's SXSW Music Conference featuring 25 of the most DYNAMIC and ELECTRIFYING LGBTQ entertainers in the country! PINK ELEPHANT is a 2 day Hip-Hop SHOWCASE where the artists, DJs, producers, managers, scholars, industry executives, A&R reps, media etc can MOBILIZE and NETWORK while making history as the the Worlds Largest Annual LGBTQ Hip-Hop Music Festival. It's also an opportunity to show the world just how RICH TALENTED and DIVERSE we are as LGBTQ Hip-Hop artists; as it will be documented. PINK ELEPHANT hopes to help RENEW the sense of community among LGBTQ Hip-Hop artists that has, over the past decade, faded. Aspirations are to produce a documentary, launch a website, and set the foundation for an annual Pink Elephant Award ceremony.
