“Local Dayton area extreme metal bands seem to have an increasingly limited option when it comes to being able to perform at local venues. The Brewery, located in downtown Troy, OH, is one of the few places that will allow all genres to put on a show. On August 7, the Brewery hosted three of the areas most talented and unique extreme metal bands. Human Paradox, Zuel and Engraved Darkness performed with pure passion for the music they play. Headlining the August 7th show was one of Dayton, Ohio’s newest bands, Engraved Darkness. With great anticipation, Engraved Darkness started their set with their song, “Die.” With every song, the crowd felt the intensity that was emulating off the stage. This band always puts on shows filled with pure emotion and fierceness that fans can’t get enough of. If you are into old school death metal, this is the band for you. Engraved Darkness is known for leaving the crowd feeling like their faces were melted off, and the fans love it.”
