“First up was death metal act Vindictive Sovereign from nearby Columbia SC and I must say that I enjoyed them much more this time than when we saw them last time at the NBT. I think most of that had to do with the fact that they had their vocalist with them this time. Not that Corey on vocals was bad, I just think that his guitar work was better when he was freed up from vocals. There were a few technical difficulties, I.e. blowing fuses on the PA and the power strip but they just made the best of it and played through in stride. The drummer who goes by Apollyon Baphomet has some sweet skills and is a pretty nifty individual.”
