VIA - Hot Sauce Addition

“In a move to continue with the continuity of VIA and maintain a high level of musical commitment, VIA has choosen to make some moves to best serve the band. VIA has chosen to part ways with Ty Blood. Since Sept., the band had placed Pat Liberatore back behind the kit for the upcoming "American Civil Tour". That process redeveloped the continuity of the musical arrangements which was easier for the rest of the members. While on the Tour, Pat handled both the drums and the lead vocal role which is a difficult process at best. Although Tyler was on the mend from the shoulder surgery, the band along with Ty developed a disconnect causing some indirect tention. There were certain aspects of Tylers lack of presence with the band causing this. Therefore, the VIA felt removing Tyler best fit the bands needs at this time. VIA wishes Ty well in the future. The front man role did not go unaddressed. VIA will add John Haggerty to front vocals and keep Pat and Anthony with vocals as well.”

Although disappointed, VIA completely understood and wishes Pat great success with his future plans. Effective July 8, 2014, it's with great excitement, that VIA introduces it's newest member (Ty Blood) Ty is a very seasoned drummer with both live and recording experience. Ty is well versed in several genres of music, however has a love and passion for metal. Ty's creativity, passion behind the kit and new opportunity is a win win situation for both Ty and VIA.”

“VIA is very excited to announce that they have made another significant change to the band. Jimmy Dean has been added to the VIA lineup as the newest 2nd guitarist of VIA. As indicated in a prior press release, In part “VIA has always been committed to its fan base and to achieve a more direct connection with the fans while on stage, VIA felt a need to draw its fans in”. Jimmy will do just that. It was not the music nor the bands style of play, but additionally a beefier sound was required. And to do this, the right guy had to be selected as was the process for Wolff and Prorok. VIA selected Dean for this job. Dean has been in other projects, but has had a love for the VIA style and had been to many shows in support of the project. Dean’s style will provide Mlynarczyk an opportunity to expand his talents on the guitar and focus some on vocals with certain tracks. Dean will share some leads on tracks while providing some harmonious exchanges with Mlynarczyk.”

VIA - VIA adds a 5th member

“VIA is very excited to announce that they have made a significant change to the band. Patrick Prorok has been added to the VIA lineup as the newest drummer of VIA, while Patrick Liberatore will move to the front man role in the project. VIA has always been committed to its fan base and to achieve a more direct connection with the fans while on stage, VIA felt a need to draw its fans in with a front man in place. It was not the music nor the bands style of play, but the connection with fans. Carrying both duties pulled away from an important component, the fans and the interest a front man can draw. However to do this, the right guy had to be selected. VIA selected Patrick Prorok for this job. Patrick is the former drummer of “Ghost of the Machine” out of Philadelphia. Pat will be a great addition to the VIA line up. Pat will learn the 7 tracks which is underaway. Expect to see VIA live again in late November 2013.”

VIA line up addition

“VIA is extremely pleased to announce they have selected Paul Wolff the new bassist of VIA. Wolff is a native Delawarean and continues to reside in Delaware. His geographical location places VIA back into the traditional way of practicing as a group and that within itself will provide the cohesiveness that was lacking the past 7 months. He is a laid back, easy going guy who has a love for beer, music and the VIA style. Wolff is a lyrics connoisseur (AKA: Wordsmith) as well as a skilled rhythmic bassist which was a must in this project. Eager to learn, willingness to offer opinions and changes was a true asset in his selection. VIA knew it had big shoes to fill in replacing Schrieber and felt they have done just that in Wolff. Wolff will be on the next 6 tracks at Vudu Studio’s for the “From the Ashes” project and beyond. VIA remains on track for the studio work leading into late June as well as a September and equally the “Dream Cre-a-Tour in July 2013.”

Casing Music Management - New Bass Player added for VIA

“In Nov 2012 VIA had the privilege to add Lewis Schrieber to the VIA lineup. Lewis traveled wiith the band to several shows and to NY (Vudu Studio’s) in Apr 2013. Lewis is credited for his bass tracks on “Royal Bloodshed, End of it All and From the Ashes”. Lewis’s contributions for the “From the Ashes” project and his dedication to learning the tracks were never questioned when electronically sent. Conducting practices electronically was not a good fit for VIA. It did not provide the cohesiveness needed for what VIA was looking for in a three piece project. The logistics surrounding the geographical location Lewis resides in has become to financially costly for the members to travel to Balt or for Lewis to travel to De for practices. Due to that fact, practices were almost non-existent as a whole band.VIA made a tough decision and released Lewis from his commitment. Lewis will continue to play bass and be the lead singer for “FIE" out of Balt, Md. and VIA wishes Lewis and”

Casing Music Management - Tough Decision

“2013 has been a year so far filled with writing new music for the upcoming album "From the Ashes". "It takes time to write and create not just music, but the right music", according to Pat Liberatore of VIA. " Anthony Mlynarczyk creative ability is certainly the best I have worked with over the years and he never runs out of idea's, Liberatore added. The album is scheduled for a late 2013 release. May 24th, the band released a single from that album "Royal Bloodshed" to give the fans a taste of the new sound and the direction of the album. All tracks will be produced under the direction of Mike Watts/Vudu Studio's, Port Jefferson, NY and in association with Dark Harvest Records. "We can't say enough about Mike Watts and his team of engineers. The laid back approach and vision while in the studio, creates a win/win situation for both the studio and the band. VIA is scheduled for another session in late June and September to lay additional tracks.”

Casing Music Management - 2013 New Look/ New Sound

“Press Release: VIA announcement: As many of you are aware, VIA had begun it's journey in the Hard Rock genre, however during 2012 the band had two line up changes that resulted in adding only one member and downsizing the band to a three pc. project. Following the first line up change in July 2012, the band played at the popular metal festival (Rockapalooza, Cleveland, Oh.) After that event and leading into the following shows in South Carolina, it opened discussions for a possible genre change. Although the band discussed the options, it was clear which genre was the most comfortable to its members. From early November and up until early January, the band had been in discussions with Dark Harvest Records, Reidsville, NC. With the response from fans in Ohio to South Carolina and the discussions with DHR, VIA is announcing today, that they have officially signed a two CD contract with Dark Harvest Records. See the VIA facebook page for the full story”

Dark Harvest Records & VIA - VIA signs with Dark Harvest Records

“VIA announcement: It is with a great deal of pleasure that we announce Lewis Schrieber as the NEW permanent member of VIA. The band had plans on making a decision in January 2013, however Lewis had fit the project and the members so well, that to wait that long would not benefit the band. First VIA wants to thank Break Forth and Fire in Elysium for their support of Lewis in his musical abilities and decisions. Secondly, VIA wants to thank Lewis in this public setting, for not only committing to VIA, but committing to several shows on very short notice since the release of Zane Maxwell. Now a little about Lewis. He resides in Dundalk, Md. yet has family ties to Delaware and previously lived in the New Castle, De area. Lewis not only is a bassist but also is a very solid guitarist and vocalist. Lewis is the right fit and will add a new life to the stage along with the current members.”

Casing Music Management - Member added

“Press Release: VIA has chose to part ways with Zane Maxwell. Although the band will not release the reasoning, the band members felt it was in the best interest of the band moving forward as well as a good decision for Zane. The band will not cancel any shows. Lewis Schrieber will fill in as the VIA bassist for the remainder of 2012. A decision will be made in the future concerning the perm. bass player selected as the band begins to search for the right fit. The band will not waiver from any show moving into 2013, however will be mindful of Lewis Schrieber's commitments with his other projects. Lewis is an accomplished musician and has worked with VIA in the past. Lewis performed with VIA during the two day Fox Fest event in Myrtle Beach, so we welcome Lewis and appreciate his willingness to keep VIA on the map and working.”

Ralph Liberatore - Casing Music Management

“VIA has begun to play shows again and kicked off the campaign with Rockapalooza Ohio 2012. The band played with Attack! Attack! Texas in July and The Devil Wears Prada to name a few. The band has equally continued to write new material. At Rockapalooza, the band introduced two new songs titled "Visions and Earth" . Currently, the band is writing a new song titled "The Insider" . Shows in Baltimore Md and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina are next. The band has also kicked off an attempt to gain 1000 fans through facebook. The winner will receive a private show for 25 friends, get a shirt, EP and a back stage pass at an upcoming show. And the 1000 like with receive dinner with a member of their choice. Some restrictions are in place. With that said, the band is doing well and many new tracks are in the future.”

VA - Roading and Writing

“It is with regret that VIA announce it has parted ways with Singer/Guitarist Christian Alexander for personal reasons. The plan is for the band to continue with it;'s release of the current EP "Elements" and release it's music video in its entirety. But moving forward, the band will play the recorded tracks live and will write new material to release a new EP in the future without Christian Alexander. The band is working with it's producer at Vudu Studio's and it was decided to move forward with it's remaining members to focus on the strong rock sounds VIA has released. Although the band has made some initial adjustments, cancelled a show, it was best so that the band can focus on the immediate concerns and come back strong for the fan base. The band apologizes for Christians untimely departure, but remains strong and working hard on new material.”
