Bio: Opened 4 years ago as a monthly music venue to encourage young performers and bands we have evolved into an intimate music cafe. The history of the premises goes way back to the 60's when it was called the hanging lamp club with such names as Jimi Hendrix and Ralph McTell performing there. more modern times (1972) saw Tony Blaire perform in this old basement, now we have a regular music night every month and we really enjoy good music and good food. We have been very fortunate in acquiring our Pa system from a member of "the who" who shall remain nameless at his request, but this generous gift has enabled us to provide bands that perform here with a 1st class sound for their efforts. in short this is a small intimate venue with a huge heart for music and friendship which also provides an income for the homeless charity who provide us with the space. all our love kev and the team...
