Bio: WHERE MIDSOUTH MUSIC LIVES...24 HOURS A DAY ...7 DAYS A WEEK This website enables listeners to renew their faith and take radio back into their own hands. Radio-Memphis.com is an internet radio station that was built by radio veterans who were tired of corporate media conglomerates dictating what listening audiences wanted based upon what their corporate lawyers and accountants needed. Ric Chetter (founder/creator/ on-air personality) has launched Radio-Memphis.com to showcase local, unsigned/Indie musicians while featuring Memphis radio personalities, including , “Vexar Dave” Thorn, "Brother Doug" Ron Sandefur and "Marky B" Mark Bialek... Radio Memphis provides listeners access to some of the best, original music found anywhere in the world and the ability to receive news, weather and events from LIVE people. This station’s main focus is to bring audiences back into an interactive relationship with radio, which, in turn, puts radio back in the right direction. People are encouraged to call the “Listener Line” (901-922-5407) to speak directly with the DJ on air and participate in the moment at hand. Radio-Memphis can be accessed from any computer that has an internet connection and can be taken anywhere by downloading the free apps available on iTunes or Android Marketplace for those who use Apple iPhones, iPads, iTouch and Android phones. Up to date, Radio Memphis' listenership has reached over 100 conutries . Join the revolution, don’t get left behind. Ric Chetter has a lifetime of experience with broadcasting, including a 14 year relationship with Clear Channel Radio. He is best known for the morning show that was shared with fellow veteran and friend John “Bad Dog” McCormack on Rock 103, which repeatedly proved to rank number one in all targeted demographics. Although one door closed and separated Ric from corporate radio, another has flown wide open to provide the opportunity to give this area (and the rest of the world) what it misses the most: local music, local news and local talent delivered live, unedited and in real time. Jo Ann Kennon, a long-time Memphian and enthusiast, posted in a recent blog on “The Lamplighter” online that “Memphis radio has always been about Memphis until recent times.” Times are changing and Ric Chetter, along with his all-star staff, is opening the portal to a place made for those who want radio back the way it’s suppose to be with one huge exception: He is making Radio-Memphis.com available world-wide with a simple click, download or scan. From this point, the possibilities are endless. This site is owned and maintained by Pirate Radio Studios, Incorporated Memphis, Tennessee. Radio Memphis features local unsigned bands playing original music. E-mail:music@pirateradiostudios.com
