Bio: GUSSY'S is the Oldest Pub in Astoria,it first became a Pub called Spinozza's in 1937,then it became the Cork & Bottle in the 70's,80's and up to 93 when GUSSY bought the place,this place has played host to a variety of artist it was a Beach bar in the 30's long before Con Edison was built,it was a Caberet in the 40's,Speak Easy in the 60's.many nehborhood folk and regulars go there as well as their parents and those parents,so on and so fourth,Gussy is an Extreme Gentleman to all who venture in and Susan,our Lovely Bar Lady serves up smiles and drinks to please the masses,Ozzie of (Necromancer Productions) realized around 2011 this could be the Music Mecca it once was way back when,so in 2012 he got to work doing more shows and decided to chuck the pool table build a kick ass stage and renovate the place,thus turning it into a Live music venue where shows are religiously held every Friday and Saturday with lots more on the way!
