Old Jacksonville Highway, Tyler, TX, US
Bio: The Fair Market is Tyler's newest farmers and artists market offering the best in locally grown and produced food, local artists and artisans. We are 100% volunteer and community supported. Our goal is to help create a vibrant and sustainable local food system by creating a fun, family-friendly marketplace where the community wants to gather. Our music stage is elevated 2' and measures approximately 10' x 18'. We have a 20 amp extension cord. Any other equipment is provided by the artist. Artists volunteer their time at the market and are welcome to sell their wares (CDs, t-shirts, etc.), promote their upcoming events, and have a tip jar. We are hoping to obtain sponsors for our musicians next season. Baby steps for now. Gigs are from 9am to 12 or 12pm. There is a driveway located just behind the stage area so loading and unloading is a breeze. Musicians that have played our farmers markets to date include Stefan Cotter and the C-Otters, Ramoth Gilliad, Randy Brown, Loretta Callens and Eric Mosley.
