Carrera Productions and the Folsom Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce 2015 Folsom Rhythm & Brews (FRB). Our first two years were a great success and we're planning an even better family-friendly event for 2015! FRB will feature fantastic music talent, the best craft breweries, great food choices, and more. Once again, the event will be free admission. Craft beer tasting requires the purchase of a 2015 FRB Tasting Kit, with unlimited tasting 12–4:30 pm. The tasting kit provides over-21 wristband and 2015 FRB event glass. Tasting Kits on sale now. For those who attended before, there will be no more tasting tickets — just unlimited craft beer tasting!

2014 San Mateo Harvest Festival The San Mateo Harvest Festival, one of the largest indoor arts and crafts shows on the West Coast, is headed to the San Mateo Event Center November 14-16. The event will offer over 24,000 American handmade arts and crafts, including original art, jewelry, pottery, clothing, specialty foods, photography, home decor and more. Throughout the weekend there is live music from festival favorites Tom Rigney and Flambeau, as well strolling entertainment from Mama Claus, Eddie the Elf and the "Horsey Guys" Fables of the West. Scotty and Trink, a comedic juggling duo, will thrill audiences as they as they juggle knives while simultaneously balancing on a unicycle. New this year is a special fruit carving demonstration by Certified Executive Chef and food sculptor Chef Ray L. Duey. Chef Ray travels around the country teaching the culinary art of fruit and vegetable carving and will be leading a series of special demonstrations each day at the San Mateo Harvest Festival. He is known for taking any fruit or vegetable and turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. Children can take part in a hands-on KidZone, hosted by Gingerbread on the Go and Nature of Art for Kids, parents can stop by the free Child ID booth, sponsored by New York Life. Along with the wonderful activities and entertainment, the festival also features delicious foods, drinks, and fabulous prize giveaways, including a grand prize ipad mini which will be awarded the last day of the show. Plus, anyone who brings a non-perishable food donation to support Loaves and Fishes Family Kitchen will receive $2 off one general or senior admission.
