True love. Leftfield provides everything you could ever want if you're looking for a true Manhattan nightlife experience-- upstairs starts narrow and divey(yet somehow not gross) and expands to a cool backroom where you can get your groove on to DJs and dancing. Downstairs is more of a club experience. Either way, you can't lose. I have yet to encounter a poor attitude from either patrons or staff here. Sure, there's the occasional drunk crying girl or creepy couple trying to lure you into a threesome, but that comes with the LES territory. Right? RIGHT?! Anyway, the bartenders are all lovely, the decor is cool, and you can choose your vibe depending on your mood all in one place. What more encouragement do you need? Yan H. Brooklyn, NY
Fat baby is one of my favorite place for parties in the Lower East Side. First of all, the security guys are just funny and very nice. I talk to them for a while before to go into the club. I think they contribute to the good reputation of the club. They was drawing funny things to the hand of each client. For my part, they draw me a Scorpio. If you have the occasion to go to Fat Baby sometimes go meet them. Inside the bartenders are also amazing, They take care of each clients by asking them if they are okay, or if they need something frequently. There is also a nice place where it s possible to enjoy fashionable music until 4 am.
We reject the idea that in order to live full and happy lives we must abstain from all vices, detach from the world and become saint-like. We believe that if there is a secret to life, it lies in experiencing all sides of existence – the bad and the good, sadness and joy, darkness and light. We embrace our vices for the value they bring to our lives. The Cobra Club is a bar. A coffee shop. A venue. A yoga studio. These titles may seem contradictory, at odds even, but we believe they are interconnected when you accept a diverse and dynamic life. These are all the things we love in life, and we have brought them together in one space to coexist and compliment one another. Welcome to The Cobra Club. Yoga for your dark side, spirits for your soul.

Launched in 2007, the Twist of Lime is a favorite among locals as well as visitors to Metairie. Open from noon until 5a, this watering hole is always buzzing with patrons. It features an impressive list of beer and spirits to choose from. Enjoy your drink with some video poker, or shoot some pool or play a game of darts. The jukebox provides great entertainment, while live bands take over on weekends.
