Tim Genner, of The Tone Prince Troll, began playing music when he was nine. As a multi-instrumentalist, he began playing keyboards but guitar, bass and drums interesting as well and has focused primarily on guitar, lead guitar and song writing.
He's played with musical 'heavyweights' such as Tim Buckley, Lee Underwood and Tom Keenlyside, to name a few and has recorded extensively at Bullfrog Studios and Mushroom Studios in Vancouver, BC.
He is currently residing on Vancouver Island where he is part of the music scene and presently releasing under the title "The Tone Prince Troll'.
His latest release called 'ROBOTMAN' (after the title track) is an "art themed", 6-song album introducing you to a unique blend of 'funk rock fusion'; Each song telling a story through a satirical lyrical style, ripping multi-layered guitar riffs to clean rhythms and instrumentals.
The new album is available worldwide both as digital downloads as well as CD.
