The Stillwinter / Press

““As expected, ‘The Undefeated’ slams straight into you with heavy pop influence, synthesizers, and a tight performance. The actual production is rather good and everything is mixed perfectly. There isn’t a piece of instrumentation that feels out of place or ill-mixed. Lead vocalist Ian Kelly does a fine job embodying a persona similar to his genre counterparts.””

“Right, so will ‘The Beauty Within’ be a good record based on these five tracks? Absolutely. The band plays to their strengths incredibly well and the music is polished, well-realized, and for the most part, interesting.”

““Sometimes bands just stand out from the rest,””

“They are a great Inland Empire band with fantastic energy, fan interaction, and fun songs. It was nice to see them break out of the IE, at least for this show. The Stillwinter is a six piece band and having a large stage to play on, such as the House of Blues stage, is a wonderful benefit and the band used all of it”

“The Stillwinter is a Great IE band that doesn't play nearly often enough. This was my first time I actually saw them live even though I know two of the members pretty darn good and I had met almost all the members previously. One of the fun things you can expect at one of their shows is to get some free cookies tossed into the crowd as a Thank You for coming to the show. I can't eat cookies - but I love this original form of appreciation of the fans and I encourage all bands to show appreciation to the fans. As for their performance on stage - Stellar. I expected it and they delivered”
