What can be said? I'm not a critic, and I unfortunately was too dumb as a kid to learn the value of sticking to a musical instrument of choice. However I do consider myself a "music buff"... But I guess everyone does... Nevertheless, the tracks found on the page currently each hold a special piece in the world of musical talent.. Not through the sharing of one general genre, but by significant but subtle differences between the tracks... From the backup vocals of Emily and the talented Andy on key tracks such as "Cost Of Love" (where the production shows off it's muscles)... ...To the melodious calm fingers of Adam (bass) on "Something I Said", passing by Matt's undeniably monstrous drumming on "Just For Now" (where he shows his capacity to be dangerous all while being able to softly handle his instrument)... Let us now take the time to break down the songwriting and musical mastermind that is Cliff (currently playing these songs solo in the more Eastern half of the county)... His voice has the capacity to puncture your soul through it's need to travel through time and space to reach you. It also soothes you and can almost cradle you to rest, like a mother bird taking the pain in just so you don't have to know what it is like to feel bad, down, low... The lyrics take a familiar feel for all humans that have ever gone through a rupture with a significant other in their lives at any moment. The precision in the imagery and the necessity to get the message out captivates the listener, almost sedates him into a hypnotic "Kings Of Leon" meets "Doves" kind of way... The only bands I can add to that list of similarity are scarce.. that last sentence in itself is a sign of quality... That band with that style you can't pin, that intrigue and trying to understand how THEY thought of it FIRST, and how you're so happy that you discovered that sound and can now share it with the world... that's the sound of music, that's the sound of art.. that despite being just a fan or appreciator, you feel this need to pass it on, to make the world know.. ...So world, here they are... Sounds Like: Kings Of Leon, Jack White, Eddie Vedder, Band of Horses, My Morning Jacket

Bio: While The Sleeping Ghost is playing, you can feel the pressure of the lyrics' hell wrought meaning. For those who have had their soul broken and scattered in the dirt, the intelligence of this band's word and music will be found to touch the core. Their sound transcends the usual immature and pop...See Full Bio
