----ALBUM LAUNCH ---- "In Love / In Madness" with special guests Dirt Playground, Alithia (Vic) and The Serra. Doors 8pm, Entry $10 -------------------- Press Release Squeaker are pleased to announce the launch of their new album ‘In Love / In Madness’ at the Crown & Sceptre on Saturday March 21st. In Love / In Madness’ is the band’s first full length album which was written and has been performed live since their last EP Fly Baby Fly four years ago. The album is the most honest and vulnerable work in the band’s thirteen year history. “We’re very proud of this project. This album was written during a very dark part of my life,” says drummer and primary songwriter Steve. “Some realities of life had begun to hit me hard personally. I had suffered depression for about eight years without realising the full extent and finally got help to deal with it. We lost a dear friend to cancer, which was the first loss of someone close to us. There was a lot of things going on, all the while running our families and a band. I think all of this and the passion that helps one push through such things is evident in this collection of songs. There have been a number of defining events throughout the making of this album.” After the release of ‘Circles’ in 2014, the first single from the album, the band has had significant changes in their career. On the strength of the track LA based company Cohen Management contacted Squeaker with the plan to push them in the U.S.A. market, and recently secured them their first American signing with music licensing company Sound Revolver. Another string to their bow is the recent signing to Adelaide’s own JL Music Publishing. Squeaker deliver a polished and energetic live show, with a hard-hitting rhythm section and industrial/synthesised textures much in the vein of bands such as Metric, Nine Inch Nails, Garbage and Primary. Front woman Georgii's stage presence has been described as "fierce and commanding". "The music is edgy and entertaining. There is something going on here that is powerful and undeniable. Squeaker is greatness waiting to happen." Skope Magazine "...high energy, catchy, hook ridden..." www.musicsa.com.au Download free digital singles from the album at www.noisetrade.com/squeaker Additional Links: www.twitter.com/squeakermusic www.youtube.com/squeakermusic www.instagram.com/squeakermusic Press Contact: Steve Staben email: firstname.lastname@example.org
