Y & T at the Cleveland Agora March 10th Y & T is back on tour again in 2016 and will be coming to the world famous Cleveland Agoa on Thursday, March 10th. This superb hard rock outfit consists of four top of the line musicians. Dave Meniketti – lead guitar, lead vocals, John Nymann – rhythm guitar, backing vocals, Mike Vanderhule – drums, percussion, backing vocals and Brad Lang – bass guitar, backing vocals. Initially inspired by The Beatles (their name came from the Beatle album Yesterday And Today) the band moved into hard rock territory but kept the phenomenal vocal harmonies in tact. Y & T have released 18 albums so far. "Summertime Girls" remains as the band's most widely recognized song, along with fan favorites such as "Mean Streak," "Rescue Me," "Forever" to name a few. Music videos for songs such as "Summertime Girls," "Mean Streak," "Lipstick & Leather," "Don't Stop Runnin'," "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark," and "Contagious" are still featured videos on VH1 Classic. Y&T's 2010 music video for "I'm Coming Home" marks the band's most-viewed video on YouTube with over 1 million views. Lars Ulrich of Metallica has stated that one of the reasons that he chose to get into the business was the feeling he had after watching Yesterday & Today perform. Y&T has sold over four million albums since their 1974 inception. The band’s most recent single I’m Coming Home has climbed to roughly 1.5 million views on YouTube. Opening for Y & T at the Agora will be The Rick Ray Band. Doors are at 6:00pm and tickets are a mere $17.00 in advance and $20.00 the day of the show. Last time through the Agora was a full house. There are people in this area that know what a great band Y & T really is.
