"...the quality of the songs is really superb: “Pennsyltucky”, and amazing opening track featuring banjo and tin whistle, “30” another great track, this one featuring pipes and excellent drums, “Montco Penn”, another highlight of the album with awesome mandolin, harmonica and tin whistle arrangements and the last number, “Comin´Home” on which the acoustic guitar, banjo and tin whistle truly shine. But, as they say, The Punkabillys are “part punk” too. And their bagpipes punk songs are also worth hearing. Listen to “Pub Crawl” and “Punk Rock Chick” and you’ll know what I mean. The Punkabillys were our band of the month during January 2012. If they keep on writing songs like “Pennsyltucky” and “Montco Penn”, I guess that they will be our band of the month once again.
