“Madison-Oneida American Red Cross holding annual Silent Auction April 29 in Vernon -The event will feature local band The Pomeranians, with Oneida High School graduates Dan MacAlpine, James Martin, Andy McHugh and Al Krula, who are volunteering their time. Chapter Executive Director Susan Tonra said the money raised will be applied to all of the chapter’s programs with one program currently in need of greater assistance.”

“ONEIDA CASTLE — The Oneida Castle Community Day was held in August at the village park. Approximately 100 village residents attended. There were games, food, door prizes and a local band The Pomeranians performed. All the members of the band are former Oneida Castle students. This was the first community day and the committee is hoping to make this an annual event.”
