“The album explores all genres of rock. It starts off with "Hour Song," a catchy radio friendly rock song, fronted with Kevin Gray's raspy, rock radio voice. Hypertension has a more punk infused sound. "Apathetic blues" explores the metal sound, giving out a vibe along the genre of Avenged Sevenfold or Sum 41. "Hung up" has an 80's rock ballad style with a mix of 90's seattle grunge in the vocals, comparable to that of Alice in Chains, whereas "Goodnight Part 2" is a toe-tapping pop-rock melody. The album ends with a comical country-bluegrass song titeld "Nobody Rides for free," including the lyrics "Ass, gass, or grass/Nobody rides for free.”
