Tectonic II Saturday, July 30th $15 pre $25 door This year's festival is about the expansion of the artist's role. The greater part of the last century was maimed with destruction and we, as the Fleet of Creators, have the duty to usher in a refurbished era of construction. With artists in leadership roles, our only obstacle in navigating those grounded in perception is our intent and precision. We, the Fleet of Creators, set forth with the goal of one day establishing a World Builder's Forum. But until then, we seek instead to inspire our constituents and manifest our deliverance. Thank you so much for all your love, sincerely. We loved playing for you at Bar Eleven. It's one of our favorite venues for multiple reasons, we're so happy you shared this moment with us.
“San Diego’s Lyon Crowns play a mash up of their classic rock, indie and soul influences, with a singer seemingly enamoured with a whole host of English post-punk vocalists called Ian: Curtis, Astbury and McCulloch - to name but three. The sensible money would err towards caution, but it works gloriously. Songs like “Make Me Shoot”, “Moonrise” and “My Pretty Girl” manage to inhabit a world where the Black Crowes share personnel with Franz Ferdinand, and the ghost of ol’ Jimbo Morrison nods appreciatively. They’re definitely onto something, and with the right breaks, a top-notch manager and all the other crap that needs to fall into place, world domination must be the only reasonable outcome. Rob F. ”
