The band have played in excess of 200 shows from Carlisle to Orkney and appeared at some of the UK’s biggest blues festivals, including Hebden, Maryport and Shetland. Lewis has also appeared on stage with several top musicians including Henrik Freischlader and Alan Nimmo. - The Jensen Interceptors are a 5 piece Blues band covering a wide range of styles and influences. They have recently hit the UK Blues Scene and are now working on building their reputation on the circuit. The influences of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Ronnie Earl and Little Walter Jacobs are clearly visible as these guys cut through the set. The incredible dynamics and space are becoming a trademark and the spectrum of expression ranges from a barely audible breath to a thundering assault on the senses. Individually the guys have played alongside artists such John Martyn, Tam White, Blues N Trouble, Rev Doc & The Congregation.

Well, where to begin with this awesome double header featuring Lewis Hamilton and The Jensen Interceptors. The JOCKS JUKE JOINT Albums is one of the mechanics for a guid few live sessions up and down the country right now, bringing the featured artists on the albums to venues so you can fully appreciate their music live. These gigs are not to be missed and that includes this one ! This is the first of many at Dreadnoughtrock that will do just that in 2013 and 2014 and will be well worth coming along. Lewis & the lads are no strangers to the Dreadnought having cut their teeth so to speak in early 2011 on our live stage to just a handful of people, has proved over the following years he is a future star in the making with some truly unique performances. They have continued to build gig after gig a very good following in the area increasing audiences willing to come and listen to what this teenage Rock blues guitarist backed up by an awesome Bassist and drummer has to offer. Since their formation in September 2010, this family power trio has gone on to become one of the fastest rising bands on the Scottish circuit. They have been booked for over 180 gigs in this time including festivals all over Scotland, from the Dundee Blues Bonanza to the Shetland Blues Festival. In addition to providing cracking re-arrangements of some blues/rock classics they are prolific writers of their own material. 19 year old Lewis has released two albums to date, Gambling Machine and Empty Roads.
