The Hamma will be performing their debut album "Panzer Tank" which has been receiving great reviews: The Hamma play an old school energy driven raw rock n roll with a heavy metal edge. The first bands that come to mind when I crank this on the stereo are Motorhead and AC/DC. Their album kicks off with Drop Dead! and Snakes Eyes which are both angry songs of evil women showcasing some cool blues inspired guitar work. Bad Reflection slows it down for a cool intro before rocking out only to slow down again. They have some really cool riffs and You’re A Goner kicks off with a stonker. Panzer Tank rocks and Crazy is a great song about the love of Rock n Roll. There’s some great guitar work on here with some really cool leads. Let Us Rock is another in the same theme. The album ends with two numbers Hard Line which made me think of Thin Lizzy and Fire At Will” Terry McIntosh www.muzic.net.nz The Hamma have reformed and re-recorded their original material that may very well delete your brain cell cache as they deliver a crusty, energy driven album with a few black-metal bells (sic) and whistles......This album is honest with no frills and worth the listen if you're a metal fan” Hawke's Bay Today We'll be giving out codes to download the album for free! Plus special guests Great Odin's Beard will be grooving out their classic bluesy rock sound.

Q: Why Panzer Tank? Are you guys Neo-Nazis or something?

A: NO! Definitely NOT! Our singer really likes tanks, and the Panzer is his favourite that's all. People often ask about the "iron cross" as well, which is not a Nazi symbol, although obviously it was used by the German army during WWII (and long before that). The band started in about 1983 and those sorts of logos were popular at the time (e.g. motorhead)
