When is it? Sunday August 9th, 4pm to 7pm What is it? The Big Boylan Bash is a chance for neighbors to get together on a Sunday afternoon in August to hear great live music, socialize, eat and sample some tasty beverages. In the process we also try to raise a little money for the Boylan Heights Association. Where is it? Dupont Circle Park (near the corner of S. Boylan Ave and Dupont Circle) The Bands? The exciting news is that we have have three bands scheduled to play the Bash: Roar the Engines, Walking Deadbeats, and the Ghost of Saturday Nite. All of these bands have a member living in the neighborhood. Check out the links to their music and make sure to come out to support your neighbor’s artistic endeavors.

“The Ghost of Saturday Nite's purist punk strikes a comfortable balance between classicist familiarity and street grit, like a midpoint between The Unseen and One Man Army. That dynamic turned two of the group's songs into standouts of Teenage Time Killers, a recent supergroup project by COC drummer Reed Mullin. "Barrio", sung there by Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba, and "Son of an Immigrant", sung by Ghost of Saturday Nite's own Jonny Webber, show the bands knack for mining bright hooks from raw foundations.”
