The Fast Lane / Press

“Barbara Fernandes This was my first time at the Beach Hut at Cedar Beach and it was wonderful. Lots & lots of people were on all the deck levels, lounging on the beach, eating and drinking and dancing. The Fast Lane was amazing! This Meetup was great. Thanks Stephan. 4 · June 22”

“The Fast Lane an Eagles tribute band was amazing and at moments you would almost believe Glenn Frey and Don Henley were up there singing. They had a huge crowd in attendance and everyone was having a great time. http://mystrangefamily.wordpress.com/2013/07/31/summer-concert-in-east-quogue/”

“The Fast Lane Tribute September 14th, 2010 by Pat Ryder The Band took the stage Friday night at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center (DHPAC) and for two hours the audience was treated to a nearly note-perfect rendition of Eagles' classics. Joe Salucci, the lead vocalist inhabiting the Don Henley role, was a dead-on reincarnation; just this side of too gritty with a voice like new sandpaper and a stage demeanor that was an appropriate combination of charming and sardonic. "Heart of the Matter" had Salucci bounding off the stage and into the front row, impressing the crowd with his heartfelt interpretation of Henley's solo material. and then Salucci urged a clap-along to Henley's "Boys of Summer" Timekeeper Bob Myers and his drumkit were elevated and set behind Plexiglas - a trend I've been seeing at shows over the past year - and "Seems to Me" gave him one of his several outstanding moments. For their efforts, the band got a standing ovation.”
