“If you enjoy genre-blurring music that is hard to classify, you’ll probably want to step out of the house and come to the block party tonight. The Eric Scott Band will play this next-to-last Block Party and even though the weather is getting colder the stage will be just as hot as it was when this festival started in early September. If you like your music unpredictable, your live shows lively and your rock music with a fiddle thrown in, a trip to the block party will probably be worth your time tonight. I highly recommend seeing these guys!!! ”
“I did a promo shoot with The Eric Scott Band (or ESB for short) and I had a blast. These guys are based out of Anderson, SC but are quickly making their way up and have a large following! I really encourage you to become a fan on facebook and check out their stuff! Amazing! I have a lot of projects coming up with these guys that I’m really excited about but can’t announce yet- EEEK! ”
“The Eric Scott Band likes to blur the lines between genres. Lead vocalist/guitarist Eric Scott likes to call what the band does “rockin’ country,” but he feels that no matter what type of music they play, good music can only be classified as good music. The last time the Eric Scott Band played at Chief’s Wings & Firewater, the crowds were in the aisles, dancing next to booths and in front of the stage, obviously enjoying whatever genre of music the band decided to explore that night. Don't Miss This Show!!! ”
"The Eric Scott Band Releases CD" In April of 2008, the music scene in Anderson changed for the better! A group of local guys who knew each other from "around town" - high school, the gym, church - came together to form a band. With a country-rock sound, this band has made a huge name for themselves on the local scene, and they have recently released their first CD with hopes that it will draw an even larger fan base.
" Best Local Band" This year it's the very popular Eric Scott Band. These guys have have been everywhere this past year playing local venues and twice at The Downtown Block Party (they are the only band on the whole roster to play two times each year!) Find them in our caledar section when they are in town!
