“TEMPLETON PEK spent the summer of 2011 supporting Rise Against across Europe and appearing alongside Good Charlotte and Bullet for My Valentine at major festivals. The band headed into Modern World Studios with producer Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers/Lostprophets/Bullet For My Valentine) to create their EP ‘Slow Down For Nothing' which was released early 2012. The band are releasing their next single ‘Call To Disarm' on May 28th 2012 on People Like You Records. The single also features on forthcoming Codemasters' game ‘DiRT Showdown'. Vocalist Neal Mitchell states, “This song has a strong opening riff and pacey feel with a nice breakdown section before unleashing to the end. This song is about making your own luck and not waiting or relying on someone to do your work for you.””

“UK Rock trio TEMPLETON PEK are set to release a 30 second single “Thirty Seconds Too Far” on January 31st, along with a full blown music video to accompany it in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. The release is an attempt to chart as the shortest song officially released ever in the UK and will see all profits donated to Teenage Cancer Trust. The band, a credible seasoned touring act in their own right, from club tours to arena shows, feels like shaking up the system. “We really wanted to release something that makes a statement and impact in the industry. The current machine churns out and revolves around 3 minute 30 second generic songs,’ because the ‘industry’ dictates that. So we thought we’d go against the grain...” explains singer Neal Mitchell. All the monies raised from the proceeds of this single will go towards helping young people fight cancer. Release date for ‘Thirty Seconds Too Far’ is scheduled for January 31st 2011. ”
