I am also a husband and a father, and a person living with MS or Multiple Sclerosis for the last 13 years. I still enjoy music, especially "live" music. Music that is in the present "now" moment - that only those in that time and space can experience in "being" there. Once a year I have the opportunity to combine live music with a cause that impacts so many in the Pacific Northwest, and that is to serve those with MS along with their families, friends, and close co-workers. Join us in this special once a year event, give and share with those you know. Can you make an impact on MS? Yes, and those affected by MS can feel your touch, that connection in your giving and sharing our message. Last year we raised just over $550 at the Walk MS Benefit Show on a Thursday night at Darrell's Tavern. This year our goal is to raise over $1500 for this year's 2014 Walk MS Benefit Show on a Saturday night in Shoreline. We also raised over $7200 for the actual Walk MS event last year, and helped push Team Blitz ( Seattle Seahawks mascot) over the $80,000 mark for the first time. Our personal goals are to raise over $10,000 for this year's 2014 Walk MS event on Sunday April 13, and over $100,000 for Team Blitz - to show our community support for family, friends, and coworkers impacted by MS. Raising awareness and funding cutting edge research, better patient solutions, assistance, and ultimately an end to Multiple Sclerosis in our lifetime. Of course, we might not raise even half or a quarter of what we did last year, but that won't stop us and me personally for going towards our own Super Bowl victory defending those with MS and those who will be diagnosed everyday till we put an end to MS forever. You can help, because we can not do this alone, share our message, give from your heart and encourage those you know to also get involved in our cause. Come to this www.WalkMS-KyleNixon.org 2014 Benefit Show or support us online through our link and just hit on the "Donate To Kyle" button at www.walkms-kylenixon.org, it's safe and easy to share with all your facebookie friends.
