“Grand Rapids rock/metal band Stone the Manic took home the title at the WGRD's Heavyweights Championship of Rock hosted at the Intersection last month.”

“Stone the Manic had a huge advantage when it came to producing their LP, by being able to take the diy approach thanks to guitar player C.J. Gardineer, who solely produced the whole album. I have to admit, Bujacked instantly earned brownie points right off the bat with their intro, which quotes one of the best movies of all time, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Songs like In My Arms, which is the first single you hear on the LP, show off the amazing vocal range that lead singer Josh Dennis has, and in my opinion, proves that he is easily in the top 5, of most talented front men in Michigan. If I were to nominate one song off the album to be Stone the Manic’s first radio single, my choice would have to be for the track Knot in the Way. This song to me, shows just how tight the band is as a whole, and how they easily have the ability and talent to stand their ground with any national band that people might try and compare them to.”

“Bujacked CD recieves 4 out of 5 stars”

“This is a five-piece hard rock/modern metal band, primed for radio play and ready with some well-constructed songs and a great sounding record. The vocals, which are traded singing and screaming between the lead singer and bassist, are very strong and selectively aggressive. The rhythm section works like a machine to shake and startle while maintaining a consistent groove. The songs are dramatic and complicated, skirting the edge of overwrought – a strong entry onto the canon of modern radio metal. Go to reverbnation.com/stonethemanic to check it all out. — RC ”

“A Grand Rapids band with a plan... to bring primal, in-your-face rock to the masses. Stone the Manic cuts an edge in hard rock with powerful vocals - damn Josh can sing and scream - with sharp guitars and bleeding breakdowns to bring everything back to metal. They seem eternally ready for ass kickin' and beer drinkin'. Cast the first stone... STONE THE MANIC”
