I'm Scottish and hail from the city of Edinburgh. I have been a musician as far as I can remember. But it was only when I was in rehab 6 years ago that I started writing songs about dealing with alcohol addiction and homelessness. It was during this time I gave my life to Christ. I released my first album 'Light in the darkest of nights' in January 2010. It's about my walk in faith over the past 4 years, and the impact it has had on my recovery. I wouldn't call it stereotypical Christian music. The album is much more of my testimony than it is worship. I also play in a folk Americana, blues, and acoustic style. I also write and record what can be called secular music. The majority of this I wrote while in rehab to help deal with the things on the inside. Music has been a real player in getting me back on my feet.
