Q: What is the origin of the band name? I played optimist little league ball in the 60's & 70's as a Southside Chief. Southside of OKC though. Thx!

A: The origin of the band name comes from a grocery store chain in Ohio called "Chiefs". There was a northside chiefs and southside chiefs. But funny enough, our first t-shirt design was a baseball jersey that said Southside chiefs and the number 6 on the back. If we ever make it out to OKC....I'll make sure to let you know. Thanks for the question. Hope I answered it well for you!
