Slowpoke Rodriguez / Press

“The term breath of fresh air never had so much meaning. Their sound reminds one of early Black Sabbath , Kyuss & Acid Bath following in the footsteps of great Stoner Rock bands before them. When I say greats before them, it's because they are destined for good things. The guitar riffs provided by Matt Boyden on "River of Booze" sound like they came straight out of Tony Iommi's secret vault and Kenoyer's almost natural ability to interact with the crowd and vocal styling reminds one of a less drunk and fat Jim Morrison. Back all of this up with the rhythm section of the band, drummer Brandon McKendrick and bassist Jeff Walton and what you were left with was a hope for Metal that seemed otherwise bleak. The band's performance of their original, "Riding On a Tidal Wave of Whiskey on a Surfboard Made Out of Don't Give a Good Goddamn" -which will appear on their upcoming debut EP- was enough proof that these gentlemen have the talent and the drive to go places. ”
