This new all-day music festival on the shores of West Sacramento's River Walk Park promises to open the doors wide to the prospects of summer. 18 bands will entertain. Vendors will bring forth culinary masterpieces. Local vendors will sell their wares. Face painters will paint. And, a good day will be had by all, forever etched in the memories of those who come. All local. All Sacramento.
Danielle Vincent & Ashley Rastad are local small business owners with a passion for the community. Danielle Vincent is the owner of Firefly, a local boutique opened in 2012 and the founder of the Community Outreach Organization, Shoes & Sandwiches founded in 2011. Ashley is a local performer and owner of Moonrise Boutique opened in 2014. We’ve been friends for a long time, first performing together in a self-managed Improv Troupe that performed from Sacramento to LA and then through community outreach with Shoes & Sandwiches. Last year we joined forces again in our entrepreneurial adventures and this year we are excited to unveil Festival Deer Productions. Together, we strive to unite the community through local events and gatherings. This summer, we’ll take on our biggest venture yet: First Festival. The goal of First Festival is to kick off the local festival season by incorporating local artists, crafters, business owners, performers & musicians into a festival that offers all the latest in this seasons festival fashion and accessories. It’s a one stop shop for everyone’s festival needs. The best part? All purchases made at First Festival will be with local, small business and artists. What a better way to collect all the must have festival gear than at an actual festival. All performers featured at First Festival will be carefully selected local musicians and acts. We’re pounding the pavement and hunting down the best local artists that Sacramento has to offer and then we’re going to share them with the community in the loudest way we can-- on stage at our festival with an anticipated 2000+ attendees. So, Follow us to Festival Season this Summer with First Festival!

“How does your music separate yourself from other artists and bands out there? Coming out of Sacramento we are very different then most bands in our area due to a majority of bands revolving around the hardcore genre. We feel like its the genre that is starting to take over and our goal is to steer away from that and keep the rock & roll roots in our music that make you want to just get up and jump around just like all of our favorite bands do for us. ”
