https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=125852944160983 Sister Gray - One slightly crazed, neurotic female musician surging with angst and inspiration is often enough for a band to have material for decades. Sister Gray has twoand they are sisters, for better or worse. Jenesse and Brittany Graling are the founding members of Sister Gray and have been creating music together for over a decade. With a full band of exceptionally talented musicians and an EP release this year, they were recently titled as Edmonton's Sonic 102.9 Band of the Month (February 2011) and SEE magazines Best Hidden Jem- Music. Inside Riot: Whether on CD or on stage, the guys of INSIDE RIOT hurl their catchy and energetic punk-rock songs in your face without letting you one second of rest. Formed in August 2008, INSIDE RIOT immediately owned the stages wherever the band was playing and quickly became one of the most promising local acts of the genre. During its first year, the band independently produced its first album called Inside Riot, released in 2009, before releasing a 7" split with the band SHARED ARMS in early 2010. In the last year the guys have done no less than four tours around Canada and are preparing to return this fall. Its no surprise, then, that the content of their songs refers to personal stories and life being in a band and touring! http://www.myspace.com/insideriot The Hunters: The Hunters are four young men dedicated to a single passion, one that pumps through their veins. Music is what they live for. From hope-driven, fist-raising punk rock to the heart-melting poetry of folk, from straightforward rock and roll to the abrasive and uncompromising approach of hardcore, they take influences from everything sincere and moving to craft catchy, melodic tunes drenched in emotion. They wear their goal of making music that matters on their sleeves, and are determined to get your feet stomping, your throat aching and your blood boiling. http://www.myspace.com/thehunters Sharks on Fire: Recent Vancouver transplants who love having a good time and POWER POP-PUNK! Sharks has been together for five years, thrown a couple punches, and then drank beer while laughing about it later. They're currently gearing up to record their next album while working their day jobs and hating on real life. http://www.myspace.com/sharksfire
