Bring your sexiest boots and exfoliate your unibrows cause the Flabby Hoffman Trio is coming to the Gallery Cabaret on 03/08/13 (free admission 21+ over midnight show) and that means a bad news for the blues. The Flabby Trio has a warning for all of those that believe Beyonce is the voice of our generation…The Voice Of This Generation Shall Not Be Lip Synched….not if the Flabby Trio has anything to say about it. Why in this day and age where the "sell out" is respected and the phony is revered as heroic should anyone care about integrity? Because the line to be Clear Channel's bitch is too damn long like a frickin Disney World E-Ticket Ride (and no I don't mean "electronic" ticket…get yourself a frickin history book). Never let it be said that the Flabby Hoffman Trio rolled over when it came time to conform to the system. I spit on their system. Besides, if I tried to roll over, I might need a crane to help me get up.
What's the point of contributing to a system designed by maniacs to manipulate zombies to prepare us all for the coming of perpetual work camps? Is that the world you want? Do you want to have an air brushed soul? Aren't you tired of the expectations and demands of the new regulatory aesthetic: X-Mas ends, Super Bowl merch goes up….Super Bowl ends, Valentine's Day merch goes up, Valentine's Day ends, Easter merch goes up and so on and so forth….they've got our entire lives plugged into their merchandising plans. Life itself is manipulated into an endless routine of shopping They've got it down to a science. The means of production is so rigorous now that it dominates our entire existence. We are not humans, we are consumption devices. Life is made up of three things: work, consume, exploit. All the messages they are sending lead to one prevailing thought: don't bother to think or truly feel about anything that doesn't lead to a specific set of monetary purchases to sublimate your humanity. God damn it what's it going to take for you to roll the freakin dice here? Take off all the emblems, and the logos and the labels and just learn to be yourself.
