As always we will have booked a wonderful show, Stacey Kent, an American-born French singer who now boasts of 8-best-selling albums. One of the foremost jazz-singers, Kent’s French-cafe-style music is as romantic as a bottle of wine under the Eiffel Tower.Even without the music, our seafood-varied, six-course featured menu for the night is exquisite. Pacific oysters with grapefruit mignonette, lobster salad with sorrel and orchid, sea urchin with bay scallop, and beef tenderloin with black trumpet mushrooms, the tantalizing six-course menu we have planned for Valentine’s Day with a wonderful adventure of taste. The final course, being a chocolate passion fruit torte with banana dulce, peppercorn water and the sweet tang of blood orange.
