It is Metric Halo's purpose to create music that resonates with their listener's pivotal moments in life. To imprint their psyche with music that lasts a lifetime. In June 2012, METRIC HALO released their self-titled debut album on iTunes, accompanied with a well-received music video of their New Orleans rock song called "Baby Come On".
"Erupting on the scene just a few months ago, January Jane already has a kick-ass EP and a legion of loyal, young fans. Their sound brings with it a full range of material, from seductive ballads to monster metal. You heard it here first... January Jane is on the express track straight to the top." -Metal Edge Magazine
I'm really excited about January Jane, they have delivered a strong debut that holds up all the way through... it's sounds creative and full of energy and passion, a good quality release and quite possibly one of the best new bands of 2012, can't wait for the full album.” -Nicky Baldrian - Fireworks Magazine
"...A throwback to the mid-80s, when hard rock and hair metal dominated the airwaves. Their set made me feel like I was on the L.A Strip in 1986." -Aural Fix 2009
The New York based rock quintet offers a flavor of Rock N' Roll that can best be describes as Death Proof. The Mob draws from influences such as Led Zeppelin, Social Distortion, Guns N' Roses and Buckcherry to bring you a modern blend of bad boy rock. Midnight Mob is going against the grain and breaking the boys club of rock n' roll and bringing you the captivating Ms. "Blackey Deathproof", the lovely front woman's tenacious vocal harkens upon rock goddesses from Janice Joplin too Wendy O' Williams. Blackey delivers a punk attitude that reminds you of that time you got punch in the mouth for being a little too friendly with the bartender. On drums is Michael James a.k.a Mikey Catastrophe, a nickname given to him for his penchant to smash away on the drums a la Keith Moon. Mickey Squeeze keeps the room hot as he stretches, bends and contorts notes as if he was Slash's illegitimate son. Bassist Carly Quinn is the baby of the group. However do not let her age fool you. Carly comes fully equipped with bone crushing grooves, sauntering stage presence and a nasty disposition reminiscent of Nikki Sixx. Spydyr stalks the stage casting his web of prowess over any lady who has the misfortune being within ear or eye shot of the lanky arachnid.
