Join us for dinner and some free live music before Shine a Light on the Queen 2013! We’re welcoming budding Burlington, VT-based singer-songwriter Zack duPont back to our stage to kick what promises to be a memorable night off with a bang. Zack’s music displays a natural potential for growth and serves as a vehicle for plays in most of the major cities in America. His finger-style guitar techniques create the illusion of two guitars playing simultaneously and are accompanied by intriguing lyrics, haunting melodies and one of a kind harmonic structures. The sound is contemporary folk with a twist of soul and blues.
Simply put, duPont is an elite guitarist. His attention to dynamic subtlety - in addition to immaculate technical polish and engaging melody lines - is remarkable. Similarly, duPont's vocal performance is intimate, nuanced and affecting. He appears to take as much care with his hushed delivery as he does with his impressively understated guitar work. Each of his talents works fully in concert with the others. Imagine M. Ward collaborating with Iron and Wine. The word you're looking for is sublime.
