The Van Susans from Bromley have gone from playing for friends and family in a sports hall to performing before thousands at the O2 in just twelve months. They played to a huge crowd at IndigO2 at the Greenwich centre in April last year less than a year since their first gig for friends and family at Goals in Elmers End.
The group are made up of Olly ‘Van’ Andrews on lead vocals and guitar, Olly Groome on keyboards and backing vocals, Holly McLatchie on violin and vocals, Will Showler on bass and backing vocals and the Dullaway brothers Rob on drums and percussion and Ed on guitar and backing vocals.
After the widely acclaimed release of the Last Adventure in 2010, Doris Brendel has completed her 7th album, Not Utopia, recorded in conjunction with producer and guitarist Lee Dunham. Once again Brendel satisfies music connoisseurs and individuals who don't like being dictated to by the music industry by providing a highly emotive, cross-genre collection of songs loosely described as progressive pop.
A series of imaginative videos is currently being planned.
The album was released on the 1st July 2012 and has to date received glowing reviews.
