UNUR (minimal, dystopian, post-something/USA)
One person and a handful of machines and strings creating a mix of electronic experimental minimal synth noise postpunk. Steady blips, crashs and thumps of rhythm machines coupled with the alternating smeared fuzz and coldwave bite of minimalist guitar clanging. All nestled between layers of analog synths guiding the melody and blurred vocals adding texture.
Unur is minimal dystopian post-something written and performed by Patrick in Chicago usi
ng drum machine, mono/poly synth, guitar and voice... and it is about three things... Sex, Death, Synthesizers.
UV POP (post-punk, new wave, indie, acoustic/UK)
UV PØP started in the legendary 80's Sheffield scene first as one-man project of John White, later as full band. Their recently reissued back catalogue presents their broad work from bold industrial/synth anthems to beautiful wave/indie guitar songs with the always remarkable voice of John White. Authentic postpunk with moments of The Fall or The Smiths. UV PØP has been playing concerts again in Europe and the US in the past year with a full band line-up. At Madame Claude John White will be presenting acoustic versions of his truely wonderful songs, such as the classics "Serious" or "No Songs Tomorrow" . To check out acoustic sets done for radio shows or podcasts have a look at the UV PØP Youtube channel or Bandcamp site.
