30 years ago, in 1982, poet/performer Paul L. Mills a.k.a. Poez performed his one-man play “Confessions of a Performing Street Poet” at the Cornelia Street Café in Greenwich Village.
He will return to celebrate the 30th anniversary of that performance on December 20, 2012, 6 PM. The Cornelia Street Café, 29 Cornelia Street. Reservations 212-989-9319.
Portions of the original one-man show were later published by Bowery Poetry Books in a collection of his writings, “Poetry Dollars,” which is available from Amazon and will be on sale at the show, along with the studio recording CD of the same work from Jackie Sheeler's Engineous Records.
