DESCRIPTION:Price: FREE\nAge Limit: All Ages\n\nDetails: The Shelter of Hope in collaboration with Ashland Community Kitchen will be hosting the 3rd annual STAND DOWN (Resource Fair) on Thursday, November 15th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Neighbors Helping Neighbors building on 25th and Carter Ave. The STAND DOWN, taking place during "Homeless Awareness Week", is a one-day community outreach event designed to address the needs of those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in this area. We are seeking social service agencies in this area to join us for this important event. \n\nWe are looking for agencies who help in the following ways:\nhousing assistance\nveteran's programs\nemployment resources\neducational opportunities\nfood and nutritional information\nclothing closets\nmedical, dental and vision care\ncommunity service agencies\n\nIf your agency is interested in setting up an informational booth during the STAND DOWN, please RSVP below or call Candy Goldie, VISTA Public Relations Coordinator at 606-324-6700 or cgoldie@shelterofhope.org. \n\nThank you for helping us help homeless families!
