The Allegheny Rhythm Rangers
Saturday, August 11th, 2012 at 6:00pm
Lawrenceville's first annual outdoor/indoor walking tour concert event.
It's a free 14-hour community music festival with the focus on the many diverse music styles and genres of Pittsburgh bands with the focus on Lawrenceville. It is considered to be the sister event to Art All Night. From Roots Rock to Electronic Dance and everything in between. The hours are noon-?
The event actually follows the evolution of music. The show highlights pre-world war 2 songs then goes through 50's Rockabilly, 60's Garage, 70's Rock, 80's Punk and then more contemporary sounds. So there is something for everyone in the community. Local vendors tables and refreshments will be available. It's a music event unlike any other! The event is planned to be annual. The outdoor event is suitable for all ages and is bike friendly.
It is a multi-venue event.
