The festival opens August 9 with Philadelphia’s own Dan Collins. A part of the region’s alternative folk scene since 2005, his debut album was “You Can’t Go Home”. He has been featured on WXPN and UPENN Radio WQHS. Audiences see him regularly at the Tin Angel and the Khyber. He has also appeared at The Bitter End, 169 Café, and Pianos in New York City.
The Nodd has centered around the
distinct songwriting and vocals of Dug, an American born just out side of Philadelphia, PA. The Nodd’s
songbook spans from levity to gravity and back, built with the kind of infectious melodic hooks and lyrical nakedness that hold together ageless songs of rock,
folk, punk, and soul that The Nodd grew up on.
