Eddie Bush and Bill Champlin to Perform at Christmas on the Creek. Concert to benefit Shriners Hospital for Children™.
National Recording Artist Eddie Bush and GRAMMY® Award winning songwriter Bill Champlin have partnered with the Omar Shrine Temple of Charleston, Y102.5, and Red’s Ice House for the 2nd annual “Christmas on the Creek” event at the Lighthouse at historic Shem Creek. The December 15th concert in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina will benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children™.
Bush said, “Partnering with Shriners is a great honor for me, given the wonderful things they do for children and their families. I thought it would be an excellent start to our recently-announced relationship, making Shriners Hospital for Children the beneficiary of our Christmas on the Creek event. What a wonderful pairing; Christmas cheer benefitting a group that has such major impact on the children they help. Such is the power of music.”
Champlin, the former lead vocalist for Chicago said, “I’m excited about my upcoming trip to Charleston to perform for my many friends and fans there, but most importantly, for the opportunity to help the Shriner’s Organization continue their invaluable work and service on behalf of children’s medical needs around the country. I can’t wait for Christmas on the Creek; Eddie and I are gonna have a rockin’ evening of music!”
The benefit concert will be held at the Lighthouse at Shem Creek (next to Red’s Ice House) and begins at 7:00 p.m. with Charleston’s soulful jazz vocalist Keturah Tetrev opening. Admission is $10.
