oin internationally acclaimed musicians, Fernando Tarango (Vocalist) and Alexander Klepach (Pianist) as they celebrate the Day of the Dead with a musical presentation of Mexican art songs, folk songs and popular anthems at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.
Alexander Klepach graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 1986 with a Doctorate of Music in Piano Performance. Klepach performed with the National Philharmonic of Moldova, the Symphony Orchestra of Europe in Madrid, and The National Chamber Orchestra of Russia as a piano and harpsichord soloist. He has concertized throughout Europe, Asia and the United States and has performed as recitalist with his wife, Olga Yurkova. He came to the United States in 1998 and has been with The Fort Wayne Phil for 12 years.
Fernando Tarango's professional career began at the age of 10, traveling the world with the American Boychoir School in Princeton, NJ. He continued his musical studies at the University of Michigan with a B.M. in Vocal Performance. He has sung professionally for the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, the Pacific Boychoir, Clerestory, Heartland, American Bach Soloists, and has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, South America and the Caribbean. www.fernandotarango.com
