i105 WFIV and The Shed at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson are working together to present a One-Of-A-Kind showcase event for local bands this fall. The "Rock-Off" will place six bands in head-to-head competition to see which one will be crowned "2011 Rock-Off at The Shed" champions and will open a Shed show during the 2012 Shed Series Season.

How does the Rock-Off benefit Second Harvest? It's simple. During the Rock-Off competition, audience members will be asked to vote for their favorite band through "Penny Votes". One penny is equal to one vote. $1 is equal to 100 votes. Voting jars will be clearly marked and located in The Shed so that audience members can vote for their favorite band. The band with the most "pennies" — (cash is accepted, too) — wins. All Penny Votes will be donated to Second Harvest.

When is the Rock-Off competition? October 8, 15, and 22. And the evening is FREE for audience members on October 8 and 15. There will be a $5.00 admission to the finals on October 22 — the admission fee will be donated to Second Harvest.
