Organized to benefit the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, CD Relief is an annual benefit concert featuring top Colorado performers. Included this year are Hazel Miller, Firefall's Jock Bartley, members of Opie Gone Bad and The Freddi Henchi Band, local contemporary favorites including Something Underground, Ironwood Rain, Demon Funkies and Tequila Mockingbird, songwriter Dave Preston, Emmy-nominated composer Denise Gentilini, jazz combo Vibes on Velvet and more. The show will be emceed by nationally renowned comedian and Animal Plant star Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald. Headlining the event will be Colorado Music Hall of Fame legend, leukemia survivor, and inspiration for the annual event Chris Daniels (and the Kings). Members of the Colorado arts community will also be present, offering a silent auction in support of the cause through the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, while Bonfils Blood Center's Be the Match program is on site for potential bone marrow and stem cell donors.
