Saturday, August 6th, 2011 at 7:00pm
Chris and Heather AKA Dead On The Live Wire are bidding a fond farewell to Edinburgh! Having finaly realised that they truly arer destined for better things they are off down south to get rich- or get drunk trying! What better way to send off everyones favorite electropunkrockindiedarlings than a final blow out at Henry's. BE THERE!
DEAD ON THE LIVE WIRE
I'm not saying that they're going to kidnap your children or anything it just might be an idea to change your locks. Dead on The Live Wire are an excellent combination of boy/girl, guitar/bass, rock/techno. Their hedonisticly menacing sound combines industrial beats, heavy riffs, double bass and aggressive lyrics from both parties. Stylisticly they dip their toes into drum and bass, punk, techno, metal, hip hop, ska- basicly they play what they want and have a lot of fun while doing it!
I'm not saying he's insane I just think its good that they'll be letting him out for the night. Comptroller AKA Michael Cox makes chiptune music out of a variety of old video game consoles. His tunes take in elements of digital hardcore, indutrial noise, breakcore and extratone. So yeah, basicly, its going to be heavy as fuck. Awesome!
I'm not saying they're cultists, just dont share any kool aid with them. Sister Bitch create a billowing fog of industrial drones where melencholy vocals tell dark tales over lurking basslines and skull shattering riffs. Imagine if Joy Division were really depressed. And distorted.
