A 7PM showing will also be available on November 20th.
What the Heart Remembers utilizes modern dance and drama to turn our eyes, hearts and ears
toward racial hatred and the effects of war crimes against the women and children of Darfur.
Conceived by Director Fanni Green and Choreographer Jeanne Travers, professors in the School of Theatre and Dance, What the Heart Remembers is comprised of poetry, video, live
music and singing performed by artists from Red-tailed Music Productions: Catherine Costa and
Barry Skeete. It features performances by students in the dance and theatre program at USF.
Most profoundly, it asks the question, “Now that you know, what will you do?”
An audience talk- back led by USF scholars, international activists and Sudanese students at USF will follow the each performance.
